I absolutely swear by Manuka Honey for all things topical …. burns, cuts, insect bites etc which are the obvious things that works beautifully on. But what really blows me out and why I always have it in stock in my shop is because I know by experience that it is also an instant miracle cure for cold sores, styes in the eyes and mouth ulcers. When I feel a cold sore coming up I apply the Manuka honey immediately and it never breaks the skin. The same with a stye, I apply the honey by smothering the eye at night and placing a fine tissue over it. Instant results. With a mouth ulcer it takes a while if you don’t get onto it immediately, so I put it on straight away. I absolutely swear by this miracle of nature. . . Manuka Honey. I find it so easy so sell because I can vouch for it. I love having it to offer my customers.

Years ago a friends father had a heart transplant, he was very poorly. A staph infection set in around the wound and his throat was full of blisters and he couldn’t swallow. Doctors had run out of options, then she remembered reading somewhere about Manuka honey and tracked some down. The first to go was the sores in his throat, it also gave him energy. She packed his wounds with honey too and he made a very good recovering. This story always stood out in my mind because they nearly lost him. I think it is very important for people to know what Manuka Honey can do for them.

About a year ago I stupidly fell over a bean-bag and landed on a wine glass, creating quite literally a chunk of my leg to almost be removed from my body. My boyfriend took me to hospital and it was so deep I needed multiple internal stitches as well as over 30 external stitches. In recovery I used nothing but 850+ MGO Manuka. The first couple of days I would hygienically put honey on my stitched wound morning and night with a gauze and wrap it up, after that I would dress it with Manuka once a day for two weeks. It worked wonders. It didn’t sting or create any uncomfortable feelings and healed my wound wonderfully. It still has a lot of scar tissue because the wound was so deep, but I can confidently say that the Manuka honey reduced the healing process by half.

I suffered with chronic acne on my face and neck since the age of 11. I wouldn’t have believed how effective it was until I used myself and saw the amazing results.

Nearly every year I need to get laser treatment for the skin cancers on my face. The treatment is extremely painful and the skin is quite raw afterwards. My daughter recently introduced me to Manuka Honey and I applied it to my skin after my latest round of treatment. It is nothing short of incredible. It not only takes away the feeling of rawness but I have also noticed it very much reduces the pain. The redness seems to subside faster too. Tip for applying it: Each night after I applied the Manuka Honey I would cover the area in tissues so the honey didn’t get on the pillow case. I peeled a layer from the tissues so they were super thin and delicate on the skin. In the morning I washed off the Manuka Honey and the tissues gently with warm water, the tissues and the honey dissolve easily with the warm water and as an added bonus there is no mess on my bed linen.
